Dental advertising: What works better than Google Pay Per Click?
Dental advertising on the web doesn't produce great results anymore. If you are doing it, you know that the volume is quite low. Since you aren't getting a lot of clicks, you can't scale it up. You can't push the gas pedal down because there simply aren't enough clicks to create meaningful patient flow.
There is however another way to do dental advertising and that is via blog marketing.
Blog marketing consists of two steps. Step 1 is to create a blog and post to it often. As you post on a blog, it "pings" search engines and will produce first a stream of search engine spiders, and second actual visitors.
The second part of blog marketing is getting the word out on social networking sites. These are sites where the real action is taking place. Remember that only about 1% of the time the average person spends on the web is spent on Google. The rest is on other websites, places ranging from Amazon to Youtube.
And you can be in those places if you use a blog correctly.
Dental advertising with blog marketing can get you far more traffic than you can ever get by just paying per click for Google visitors. It is also less expensive in the long run and can get you bigger volumes of good new cases.
