How to get more cosmetic patients, see fewer people and make a lot more money

I'm going to make some assumptions here. One is that you are reasonably good at case presentation and have pretty good case acceptance. I am somewhat the expert on case acceptance as I have written a definitive book about it now in its third edition.

I am also going to assume you want to get more high end cosmetic cases. My system works if you are looking for restorative cases also but it is primarily geared to the practice that is pretty high end. Or the dentist who wants to upscale the practice.

So that means you have to have the clinical skills. It helps if you place implants but it is not essential. It helps if you want to do more veneers and especially if you also do perio work and some or all of your own endo.

Because my methods will get you patients who want a lot of work and can pay for it. But you should be capable of doing a lot of this work yourself rather than farming it out.

Okay, so with that out of the way, assuming you want to do more high end work and that you are a good salesperson, let's now discuss…

Why your existing website isn't performing as well as you would like

The biggest complaint doctors tell me is that they are doing okay with their website, but just okay. They want to do a lot better. They want to get to the top of Google. They want to get a lot more quality patients come into the door via the web.

And this makes sense as a goal. Because affluent patients, people with both the need, the want for cosmetic dentistry, and the money to afford it, are researching their issues on the web. They are looking for a dentist that way and if you can present them what they are seeking, they may set an appointment with you.

But the trouble with most websites is threefold:

  1. They are not easily found on Google.
  2. They do not go beyond Google so people can find them on the rest of the web.
  3. They do not grab a person and convert that person from a visitor into a patient.
